2.7 Testing electrical safety

A regularly calibrated instrument tester is available.
✔
Test prod is connected to unit tester and is sufficiently compensated,
if necessary.
1. Connect the unit tester to the power supply, switch it on and wait for
it to be initialized.
2. Connect the mains cable of the MyCrown Design to be tested to the
measuring socket of the unit tester.
3. On the unit tester select the measurement R
PE
with 25 A.
4. Perform the measurement R
PE
with 25 A, by reliably and securely
contacting the four measuring points (A), (B), (C) and (D) with the test
prod.
A = screw next to USB port
B = screw next to control panel
C = screw on top of cover
D = screw on bottom of cover

The measured values must be below 0.2 Ω.
5. Note the four measured values in the transmission protocol and send
this to FONA Dental.
