B. ON-STAND USAGE
A. ABOUT PRODUCTS
The flexible LED light FOMEI ROLL is an excellent alternative to the classic board lights thanks
to its adaptability. The panel can be bent and adapted to the scene, or can be used like a
classic board light on a stand with x-frame. Velcro on the back of the panel and additional
velcro stripes can be used for positioning, joining more panels together or attaching to
various surfaces. Light can be powered from the AC power supply or battery. Thanks to low
weight and separate control unit it is no problém to use light outdoors, on high stands or less
accessible places. LED ROLL is wound on pressed paper tube. We recommend using this tube
for storage and transport to maintain durability and protection of the panel.
The LED ROLL has holes in each corner on the back side for inserting the x-frame, that must
be stretched crosswise and each end inserted into the corners on back side of the LED ROLL
panel. In the package we can also find a positioning joint, which we attach to the cross hol
-
der (to its center) and the other end can be attached to the spigot (Reduction at the top of the
studio stand) of a common studio stand. The light is now in flat shape of an LED panel and
can be positioned.
C. OFF-STAND USAGE
Flexible panels can be used outside the stand, mainly due to their flexibility and low weight.
You can put the panel on the stage and make a lot of shapes, ita can be held by an assistant
or it can be fastened with Velcro, which is located on the back side of the panel around the
entire edge. In this way can be several panels attached to each other to increase the area of
the light source.
D. SOFTBOX USAGE
The softbox consists of a folding frame, a diffuser and a honeycomb filter. Unfold the frame
and place its perimeter with the Velcro stripes next to the light. Velcro around the perimeter
must be folded over the back of the light and attached to the edge. Now the frame is stret
-
ched and we can stretch the diffusion fabric into it, which is attached to the inner perimeter
with Velcro. In this way, the softbox creates more homogeneous spread of the light. In the
same way, it is possible to tighten the honeycomb filter, which serves to direct the light and
limit its flow where we do not want it.
