Installation Steps
1) Please turn off the power of each signal source and equipment before installation, otherwise, may cause damage to transmission equipment;
2) Use one pc coaxial cable to connect the camera (or source devices of TVI, CVI and CVBS signals which transmitted over coaxial cable) with the “TVI/CVI IN” port of FS-HD2103E;
3) Use one pc HDMI cable to connect the “HDMI OUT” port of FS-HD2103E with the corresponding interface of display device;
4) Use one pc VGA signal cable to connect the “VGA OUT” port of FS-HD2103E with the corresponding interface of display device;
5) Connect the DC input interface of FS-HD2103E to the 12V/1A power adapter which offered by us;
6) Check and ensure the installation is correct, equipment is in good condition and all connections are reliable, then, plug in the power cord to power the whole system;
7) The red “PWR” light of the device lights up a er power-on;
8) Turn on the signal source of TVI, CVI and CVBS and send the signal to FS-HD2103E via the coaxial cable;
9) When the display device is connected via the VGA port, the output VGA video format is switched by using the “OUTPUT” button, and the corresponding VGA indicator on FS-HD2103E is illuminated, and the
picture is showed on the screen at the same time;
10) When the display device is connected via the HDMI port, the output HDMI format is switched by using the “OUTPUT” button, and the corresponding HDMI indicator on FS-HD2103E is illuminated, and the
picture is showed on the screen at the same time.
Note:
FS-HD2103E supports TVI, CVI and CVBS signals self-loop to other signal processing devices (such as DVR which supporting real-time storage, editing and third-party monitoring of video information).
A er completing step 2 above, we can use another coaxial cable to connect “TVI/CVI OUT” port of the FS-HD2103E with the corresponding signal processing device to realize simultaneous acquisition,
monitoring and post-processing of signal sources in multiple locations.
Trouble shooting
If the equipment fails, it can be solved as follows:
1) Check if devices installed in proper way which instructed by the supplier.
2) Check if coaxial cable well connected.
3) The maximum transmission distance depends on the quality of the signal source and the transmission cable. Check if actual transmission distance exceeds Max. distance permitted.
4) check if camera, FS-HD2103E, display device is properly powered.
5) Replace the defective one with a proper unit, check if the devices (NVR, IP camera etc.) are damaged.
6) Check if coaxial cable is damaged.
7) Contact the supplier if faults can't be removed a er operations mentioned above.
