2.5.13.4 Delete Clip

• In the DELETE CLIP X-XXX screen, select between clips by 

pressing the 

 and 

 buttons. 

• If  you  select 

YES

, a message appears indicating that the 

selected clip is being deleted.

• Press 

EXIT

 to return to the menu screen.

Once a clip has been deleted, the FS-2/2E display re-organizes the 

clip number sequence. For instance, if there are three clips on disk 

(1-001, 1-002, 1-003) and you delete clip 1-002, after delete is 

complete, clip 1-003 becomes clip 1-002. Base file names are not 

affected however.

2.5.13.5 Format Disk

It is generally not recommended to delete clips, since fragmentation may 

occur.
