• Do not block up the lower vent port.
• Avoid placing the subwoofer too close to heat sources (radiator, halogen lamps).
• If you move the subwoofer from a cold room into a warm one, you may encounter an internal
condensation phenomenon. We recommend you to wait an hour before using the subwoofer
again.
• Never use any solvents, detergents, alcohol or corrosive products, scrap-pers or scouring powders
to clean the surface of the enclosure. Use a dry cloth to remove dust.

aluminum back plate of the product and it must be always easily accessible by the user.
Breaking-in period
The driver used in the Sub Utopia Be is made up of complex mechanical elements and requires an
adaptation period before it delivers the best of its performances.
They must get adapted to the temperature and humidity conditions of their environment. This
breaking-in period depends upon the encountered conditions and can last several weeks. In order to
shorten this period, we advise you to let your subwoofer operate for about twenty hours at medium
level, playing standard music programs, but with a large amount of bass. Once the components of
the loudspeaker are completely stabilized, it is possible to enjoy the real performances of your self
powered subwoofer.
