SET-UP OF THE AUDIO COMBINER
The ACA612 is set to unity gain 0dBm at the factory.
OPERATION
The ACA612 Audio Combiner Amplifier is used to combine and
distribute any two audio BASE-BAND line level audio signals. The
two signals such as stereo left and right audio are combined
without loading or corrupting the input signal. The stereo
separation is maintained by buffer amplifiers placed between the
stereo input and the mono (combined) output.
HOW TO SET THE OUTPUT LEVEL JUMPERS
The output level of the ACA612 can be set for three standard
levels. When the front panel meter reads "0" the level programmed
by these jumpers will be output. The Meter reads Peak Program
Level. The output jumpers are marked in standard Average Program
Level. Select the APL output level you wish and move the output
jumpers on for the Right and Left side. Set the Jumper from the
center pin to the left side for 0dBm, or the center pin only for
+4dBm or on the center and right side pin for +8dBm.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE UNIT
Care should be taken not to subject the ACA612 to extreme moisture
or temperatures outside normal operating range. There are no periodic
maintenance adjustments to be made on the ACA612. If the unit does
not function properly it should be returned to the factory for repair.
