There are markings on the seat post
which show how far it can be pulled out
of the frame. Never pull the seat post be-
yond the maximum length marking.
4. Now unfold the pedals of your FLYER Up-
street 2. Fold them outwards through 90° (1).
Carefully pull the pedals outwards (2) until they
latch into their riding position.
Make sure that all of the quick-release
tensioners and fastening latches are cor-
rectly and securely fastened.
Before riding, fold up the central kick-
stand.
Before each trip, make sure that there is
enough gripping force at the folding
hinge as shown in chapter 1.2. In addi-
tion, make sure that all safety catches
are correctly closed. When riding, the
folding hinge must always be secured
and must never be altered.
Have your FLYER specialist retailer reg -
ularly check the folding clasp. Do not
turn the adjusting screws on your own.

Take hold of the frame hinge to verify that
it is locked in place.
Make sure that there is sufficient gripping
force. If the gripping force is insufficient,
contact your FLYER specialist retailer
immediately and have the locking lever
adjusted. Make sure that the lever is se-
curely fastened.
Then, unfold the stem upwards and lock it in place
with the quick-release tensioner.
3. Open the seat post quick-release tensioner (1)
and pull the saddle post out of the seat tube until
it reaches the desired height (2). Then correctly
close the quick-release tensioner again (3) so that
the saddle remains securely in position.
