Attention on drums with smooth edges!
On compressed-air impact, the follower plate moves up to the upper
edge of the drum. Collision hazard due to the pump that is jerkily
pushed out of the pump guidance!
> Unlock the locking bolts at the pump centring plate before lifting
the follower plate.
> Hold the pump with one hand.
Information
The lifting of the pump and the removal of the follower plated out of the
drum is easier with the help of a second person.
Attention!
Medium can continue to flow from the hose after the pump has been
switched off. This medium must be removed in such a way that no
hazard exists for persons or the environment.
7 Cleaning
Attention!
It is possible that small amounts of the material to be pumped will pass
through the seal and collect on the top of the follower plate.
Attention!
> Only clean the VISCOFLUX lite Ex outside the hazardous area
> Remove the power and air supply before cleaning the drum emptying
system.

When removing the hose from the outlet of the pump material can
escape.
> Observe your own internal instructions when cleaning.
> After every drum emptying medium residues must be removed from the follower
plate.
> Remove the power supply and the compressed-air supply before cleaning the
drum emptying system.
> Remove the pump of the drum.
Attention - material can escape.
> Take off the pump centring plate.
> Remove the follower plate of the drum.
> Clean the follower plate. To do so, use e.g. a scraper. Do not damage the sealing
lips.
> In case of successive drum emptying scrape identical medium residues into the
drum to be emptied next respectively, dispose medium residues in an
environmentally sound manner.
> Clean the hose. To do so, disassemble the hose of the pump outlet.
Attention - material can escape.
> Observe the corresponding operating instructions for the cleaning of the pump!
