Appendix B – Status Indicators
The Status Indicators are found on the LHS of the Gateway and indicate self-diagnosed faults when accompanied by the
Font Panel Fault indicator.

Battery Pack Pre-Charge Indication
If on application of external power the backup battery does not have sufficient charge to run the Gateway should a
power fail condition arise then Gateway will not start but instead starts a pre-charge mode. This is indicated by the
following repeating pattern in the Status Indicators.

This mode lasts for a duration of 20 minutes minimum.
