5.6 Firebox Liner Panels
All models of the Woodford stove collection, use firebox liner panels to the side, back
and either side of the rotating grate to the base of the appliance.
The stove will be delivered with the liner panels in situ, however it may be easier to
remove these during installation.
Please note, each model in the Woodford range has the following number of liners :
Rear liners; 1no. Large liner (Including holes for tertiary air) & 1no. Small liner (This
is seated onto the rear grate support & is below the large liner)
Side liners; 4no. Which are all identical in size, 2no. Per side, these just sit on top of
each other.
Base liners; 1no. Liners sit either side of the rotating grate assembly.
5.7 Smoke Control Area (The Clean Air Act 1993 & Smoke Control Areas)
If the stove is to be installed in a designated Smoke Control Area (further information can
be found via https://www.gov.uk/smoke-control-area-rules ) then the secondary air lever
must be fitted with a restrictor plate to prevent total closure of the secondary air control.
A factory fitted threaded hole is positioned adjacent to the secondary air control for
fitting of the supplied restrictor plate and fixing.
NOTE :
The minimum air control setting is governed in manufacture to meet the
requirements of Smoke Control exemption and as a result the appliance will NOT
shut down completely when in the minimum air position setting.
5.8 Optional Accessories
Further optional extras, such as self levelling feet, heatshields, bolt down brackets etc.
are available via your retailer or dealer.
