Make a loop at the end of
the extension cable and
hang the loop onto the
strain relief on the mains
cable (
A
5).
Connect the extension cable.
Make sure that the funnel feeder is empty.
1. To switch on, push the operating
mode selection switch (
A
9) lock
forward and turn the operating mode
selection switch to the right.
The operating mode selection switch
locks into place.
Turn the operating mode selection
switch past the resting point to start
the equipment.

Place your chopping material in the fill
hopper. The material is drawn in and
chopped.
2. To switch off, turn the operating mode
selection switch (
A
9) back to the left.
The shredder will continue to run im-
mediately after switching off.
Emptying the collector box
Do not leave it until too late to
empty the collector box. Remem-
ber that the collector box fills un-
evenly under the ejector opening.
1. Switch the shredder off.
2. Unlock the collector box (
A
2) by plac-
ing the safety switch (
A
3) in the OFF
position.
3. Remove the collector box (
A
2) from
the chassis (
A
12) and empty it.
4. Make sure that the area around the
safety switch (
A
3) is free of wood
chippings before you reattach the col-
lector box (
A
2).
5. Reattach the collector box (
A
2) and
place the safety switch (
A
3) in the ON
position.
Overload protection
In the event of overload, e.g. due to
branches that are too thick, the equipment
automatically switches off.
Restart prevention
After switching off automatically as a re-
sult of overload, the equipment will not
restart automatically.
To switch back on, start by turning the op-
erating mode selection switch (
A
9) to the
“OFF” position.
Press the reset switch (
A
7).
Switch the device back on.
