Checklists
(These instructions are generic. Refer to approved checklists and directions included in your
aircraft’s flight manual, flight manual supplement, or certification documents for specific
instructions.)
Before engine start:
Ensure that power is removed from the EVS3, either with the
applicable EVS3 Power switch or Avionics Master switch. (Refer to the applicable
aircraft checklist or flight manual supplement)
After engine start:
Apply power to the EVS3 by turning on the applicable EVS3
Power switch or Avionics Master switch once aircraft power has stabilized and the
aircraft is removed from ground power. (Refer to the applicable aircraft checklist or
flight manual supplement)
Before engine shutdown:
Remove power from the EVS3 by turning the applicable
EVS3 Power switch or Avionics Master switch
off

Troubleshooting:
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the operation of
your EVS3, please call FLIR at 888.747.3547.
Window Replacement Kit (optional) p/n 4107341:
If your EVS3’s front window is
degraded resulting in poor image quality, you can replace the window by ordering
FLIR’s Window Replacement Kit, p/n 4107341. The Window Replacement Kit is
intended to a correct degradation of window clarity and restore optimal performance.
If your EVS3 sustains heavy damage (by debris, hail, or bird strike, for example), it
must be returned to FLIR for repair.
