Site requirements for the p70s / p70Rs Pilot
controller are as follows:
• There should be no obstacle between the user
and the pilot controller.
• The pilot controller should be situated at least 0.8
m from an engine, compass, high current power
cables, or any magnetic device.
Viewing angle considerations
As display contrast, color and night mode
performance are all affected by the viewing angle,
Raymarine recommends you temporarily power up
the display when planning the installation, to enable
you to best judge which location gives the optimum
viewing angle.
