Some disposable breathing circuit/exhalation valve
assemblies are not compatible with the FLIGHT 50
Ventilator due to the requirements of the ventilator’s
sophisticated servo-controlled, pressure management
system. If your disposable circuit fails consistently, switch
to a FLIGHT MEDICAL approved, reusable FLIGHT 50
Ventilator breathing circuit/exhalation valve assembly to
ensure that the FLIGHT 50 Ventilator performs to
specification.
HOME CAREGIVERS: It is common practice to have two
patient breathing circuits available in homecare
environments to ensure that a clean circuit is always
available for regularly scheduled circuit changes. The
exhalation valve in each circuit must be calibrated before
being put into use.
