Attention!
Before performing maintenance work between the tipper bridge and the
chassis, the stopcock for the tipper hydraulics must be closed.
This prevents accidental lowering of the tipper bridge.
A bridge support is required to perform maintenance with a raised tipper bridge. If it
is not available, the operator must provide a secure support; otherwise, it is not
permitted to perform maintenance work with the bridge raised.
Use of the bridge support with a raised tipper bridge is mandatory during
maintenance.
8.11 Bridge support for maintenance work
If no locking facility is provided on the hydraulic system, the use of a bridge support
with a raised tipper bridge is required during maintenance. If this is not present, the
operator must provide a secure support. Otherwise, it is not permitted to perform
maintenance work with the bridge raised.
Failure to observe the above instructions
can result in life-threatening injuries.
