Fluid temperature
The fluid temperature is used:
– at the beginning of the measurement for the interpolation of the sound speed and therefore for the calculation of the
recommended transducer distance
– during the measurement for the interpolation of the density and the viscosity of the fluid
This value is only used, if the fluid temperature is not measured. The value has to be within the ambient temperature of the
transducers.
• In case of a temperature range, enter the average fluid temperature.
• Press ENTER.

Definition of the physical quantity for analysis
• Select one of the following physical quantity for analysis:
– Mass fraction
– Volume fraction
– Mole fraction
– Analyte concentr.
– Matrix concentration
– Density
– Norm. density
– Std. sound speed
• Press ENTER.
• Enter the operating point for the physical quantity for analysis (here: volume fraction).
• Press ENTER.
If the selected operating point of the physical quantity for analysis is outside the valid range, a substitute value has to be
entered.

The valid range of the selected physical quantity for analysis, the temperature, the density and the sound speed can be
displayed.
