ACCESSORIES
COVER PLATE
NOTICE: Use the cover plate when cutting
decorative veneers, plastics, etc. It protects
sensitive or delicate surfaces from damage. It is
mounted on the bottom of the tool base.
Installation:
Insert the front of the base into the front of the
cover plate and lower the jig saw (Fig. 6).
The cover plate should snap securely and
audibly onto the rear of the base (Fig. 7).
Removal:
Press down on the two release tabs and slide
the cover plate forward about 1/2 inch.
Lift the cover plate off the base to remove it
(Fig. 8 & 9).
