Resetting forgotten password
To reset the access password for SMS and the confi gu-
ration program, briefl y press the button, the green light
begins to fl ash and the blue light is on.
Send an SMS to the EMA2 phone number containing
an IMEI number (without a password).
The EMA2 confi rms the password has been reset by SMS.
The password is now “1234”.
Control by calling
The protection status can be controlled free of charge
by ringing. Ringing means calling the EMA2 phone
number, wait for the completion of one or two whole
ringtones on the handset and
then end the call
.
Service SMS notifi cation
If the “Service” setting is enabled for the phone num-
ber, the following messages are sent to it:
Exceeding the daily limit of outgoing SMS
Notifi cation regarding a discharged EMA2 backup
battery
