5. Noting that there is approx. 29cm from the drill holes to the base
of the cistern, use a spirit level to ensure that the bracket is level,
and drill 6-7mm holes, then insert the wall plugs and attach the
mounting bracket using the fixing screws.
6. Your cistern should arrive with the backnut V1 installed, suitable
for a low level connection (with no flush pipe extensions).
7. To convert to a higher level cistern, unscrew, remove and discard
backnut V1, and instead use backnut V2 to fix the outlet valve to
the cistern casing. The flush pipe extensions (with the narrow side
facing downwards) will fit into the end of the flush pipe.
8. Add the connecting nut and cistern sealing washer to either the
top flush pipe extension, or to the flush pipe (if the extensions are
not used), with the sealing washer having the smooth side on the
outside, and the thicker edge at the bottom.
9. Hang the cistern securely onto the mounting rack and push the
flush pipe or flush pipe extension into the base of the outlet valve
within the cistern. If required, the cistern can be levelled by making
minor adjustments to the position of the mounting rack.
10. With the cistern correctly positioned, screw the connecting nut
onto the thread at the base of the cistern and tighten the nut.
11. Use a bucket to flush the water supply lines, connect water supply
and check operation of cistern.
12. Check the water level and if necessary adjust the inlet valve. The
critical line (marked CL) on the inlet valve must always be 3cm
above the overflow tube of the outlet valve.
13. If you are installing a low level cistern, click
the link piece into place flush with the base
of the cistern, then place the toilet seat
temporarily in position, and mark a line on
the link piece, 20mm in from the edge of the
seat. Remove the link, and cut off the excess
if required.
14. Install the seat bolts and bolt fixing plates. The bolt fixing plates
can be faced towards the front or back depending on how the
seat fits on your pan. The sides of the bolt head should rest on the
grooves in the plate.
15. Add plastic washers to the bolts from underneath the pan. Loosely
attach the nuts. If low level, fit the link, and slide the seat over the
bolt fixing plates and the link. If high level, the seat slides over the
bolt fixing plates alone. Ensure correct alignment with the pan,
then tighten the seat bolt nuts and connecting nut.
16. Fit the cistern lid, test push button for operation and check for
leaks.
17. Your cistern should have the inlet and outlet valves pre-installed,
however occasionally some troubleshooting is required to fix
minor issues.
Refer to the valve adjustments on page 3 to change the flush rate.
Refer to page 4 for detailed troubleshooting suggestions.

Your valve should arrive with a default pre-set factory flush setting of 4.5/3L. This can be adjusted to 6/3L or 9/4.5L to better suit
your pan if required. Both the inlet and outlet valves will need to be adjusted.
The first adjustment is to
A
the Float Adjustment Height. Use a screwdriver to turn the screw located on the arm of the Inlet Valve.
This will move the float up or down. With your sight line at the level of the float, adjust until the lowest visible Float Adjustment
Height Level is at the desired number (see table for standard recommended settings).
The Outlet Valve body can be easily removed from
the base by rotating the cylindrical valve in an
anti-clockwise direction until the body is released
from the base.

pushing the markers to their correct settings, as
shown in the table below.
Reinstall the Outlet Valve by placing on base and
rotating clockwise until locked in.
IMPORTANT: Ensure Overflow Height Lock & Outlet
Valve are properly locked before use.

visible will need to
be changed. Push down the Height Clip on the
Inlet Valve, rotate body clockwise to unlock, then
pull the body up or down to expose the number of
teeth mentioned in the table below. Rotate body
counterclockwise to lock and insert height clip.
IMPORTANT: Always ensure height is firmly locked
before the valve is used.
