Possible Causes Fixes
Out of range Ensure Fx Sensors and Fx Floodlight are
within 100m of the Control Unit
Ensure the Control Unit is upright
Turn Fx Sensor/Fx floodlight back on,
or turn the Control unit On/Off
Fx Sensor or FX Floodlight have been
turned off
Unit won’t turn On Batteries are exhausted
Rechargeable batteries are being used
Batteries in wrong orientation
Insert new premium batteries
Rechargeable batteries operate at a lower
voltage, replace with primary batteries
Remove, and reinstall batteries in correct
orientation
Units are not showing as
connected to the control
unit
Unit is not paired to the system Pairing procedure; Select pairing mode on
the Control Unit. On the unpaired Unit,
ensure it is On, then push and hold the
button. The Status LED will start to flash,
then face it against the Pairing Point on
the Control Unit. The corresponding LED
will illuminate on Control Unit, and the
unit is paired
System not responding The Control Unit is in pairing mode Select a sound on the Control Unit. Do not
leave in Pairing Mode
Security System false Fx Sensor Detection Lens exposed to
a sudden change in light, and/or
environmental movement (i.e. branches,
foliage)
Sensor Unit movement
Ensure Fx Sensor is not facing direct
sunlight, and look for anything moving
directly in front of the Sensor Unit
Ensure bank stick is in solid ground so the
Sensor Unit does not move
(esp. windy conditions)
