Installation
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or property
damage resulting from the sudden re-
lease of pressure, do not install the
valve assembly where service condi-
tions could exceed the limits given in
this manual or on the appropriate name-
plates. The leakoff and spring case
vents must be kept open. Avoid danger
of fire or explosion from venting of flam-
mable or otherwise hazardous fluid into
a closed or poorly vented location by
providing adequate ventilation.
1. Before installing the valve, inspect the valve body
and associated equipment for any damage and for any
foreign material.
2. The control valve may be installed in any orienta-
tion. However, the normal method is with the actuator
above the valve, especially for an angle configuration.
