•Position the base on a flat surface with the plug facing you.
•Align the rib on the bottom of the lower post with the groove
in the opening of the base.
•Insert and push the lower post down, using a circular motion,
until it
“snaps”
into place.
Hint:
For easier assembly, apply liquid soap (or rub a candle or bar soap)
around the end of the lower post, especially on the corners and the inside
of the opening in the base. If assembling inside, place a tarp under the
base to protect the floor surface.

Remarque :
Pour faciliter l’assemblage, enduire de savon liquide
le tour du bas du poteau inférieur (en prêtant une attention particulière
aux coins) et l’intérieur de la grande ouverture carrée, ou les frotter
avec une chandelle ou un pain de savon. Si l’assemblage est effectué
à l’intérieur, placer une toile imperméable sous la base pour protéger
le plancher.

•Push both levers down on the lower post.
•Insert the upper post into the lower post, as shown.
•Push the upper post completely into the lower post.
•Lift the levers to secure the upper post in its lowest
position – 1,20 m (4 feet).
Hint:
Height adjustment instructions are on page 6.

•Baisser les deux leviers du poteau inférieur.
