BEFORE YOU CALL FOR SERVICE

The washer is
overloaded.
‘High’ water
level light
flashing.
The washer is overloaded and cannot agitate. Ensure
the washer is stationary. Remove items until the
remaining ones can move freely.
Select a higher water level.
The washer
has a suds
build-up.
First ‘Rinse’
progress or
‘Spin’ progress
light flashing.
The washer has a suds build-up (too much detergent
may have been used for the amount of soil in the
load). Wait for suds to dissolve (about 20 min.) Rinse
clothes using a deep rinse.
The lid can’t
lock or the lid
is open.
‘Lid Locked’
light flashing.
Make sure the lid is closed.
Press
(refer to page 16).
If the symptom persists call you Fisher & Paykel dealer
or Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service
technician.
The washer
is out of
balance.
First ‘Rinse’ or
‘Spin’ progress
light flashing.
Wash load is out of balance. Ensure the washer is
stationary. Manually redistribute the load.
Check the washer is level (refer to ‘Installation
instructions’ page 9).
Your washer sounds a musical series of beeps every 5 seconds and... possible solutions.
Some lights are on but the pattern of lights is unfamiliar.

Turn your washer off at the wall.

Wait for 60 seconds and turn it back on.

Check the washer is level (refer to ‘Installation Instructions’ page 9).

Remove load and retry.

Put through a ‘Deep Rinse’ and ‘Spin’.

If the fault reoccurs, repeat Step 1.
If the washer still will not work you will be required to call a Fisher & Paykel supported
and trained service technician to arrange service (refer to page 45).
