Flue Recommendations
The termination cap should be
designed to inhibit down-draft-
ing without restricting the ex-
haust discharge.
Chimney experts have determined that the flue ter-
mination should be at least 2' above the highest
portion of the roof that is within a 10' radius of the
flue.
The diameter of the chimney stack
should be consistent throughout its en-
tire length.
The chimney stack should have a built in air tight
clean-out.
WARNING:
Do not operate with
clean-out uncapped.
The flue size should be at least as large
as the exhaust stack on the furnace, but
not more than twice its size.
