3 Controls
3.1 Positioning the accessories and pipe
The machine is equipped, on the trolley base, with
four compartments which house the supplied
accessories.
On some models you can place the rigid part of the
vacuum pipe resting on the head and on the
trolley.
3.2 Start-up and operation
Check that the electric switch is disabled (position
0).
Check that special filters are installed in the
appliance. Then, connect the vacuum hose by
inserting it into the appliance's vacuum nozzle,
pushing the pipe forwards until it clicks firmly into
place in the nozzle. Connect the accessory to the
hose, twisting them to make sure that they are
mounted properly. Choose the suitable accessory
according to the type of material to be vacuumed.
Connect the plug to a suitable power socket. Push
the power socket to position I
to start the motor.
3.3 Filter shaker*
The appliance is equipped with a semi-automatic
filter cleaning system. The filter cleaning system
must be used when the vacuum power is no longer
enough. Regular use of the filter cleaning function
increases the duration of the filter.
With the machine switched on, cover the nozzle
opening or vacuum pipe with the palm of your
hand.
Press the button shown in the figure quickly at
least three times. This way pressure waves are
generated within the filter that ensure the
detachment of the vacuumed material from the
outer filter surface.
Due to the pressure inside the machine, you must
press the filter shaker button firmly. This is not a
malfunction and the internal parts of the
mechanism are sized to withstand such pressure.
3.4 Blowing function*
The vacuum cleaner can work as a blower to
remove light scattered material (such as leaves) in
piles.
The vacuum pipe must be connected to the
machine's motor outlet, applying it to the special
nozzle equipped with a release button.
Push the end of the tube into the nozzle until it is in
place. Press the button to release the pipe.
CAUTION
Read the section relating to the risks
associated with the blowing operation
carefully.
