How to Mount the Ear Hooks
When the dust filter is in need of cleaning, use a damp cotton
swab to gently remove any dirt adhering to the filter. Take care that
no dirt enters the inside section of the mesh during the cleaning
process. Should you be unable to remove the dirt adhering to the
dust filter, replace the filter with a new one.
How to Attach the Dust Filter
To prevent dirt adhering to the mesh section of the housing,
please attach the adhesive dust filter accompanying the product
to the mesh section.
1. Using a pair of tweezers or similar, remove the dust filter
from the sheet.
2. Place the dust filter on the housing concentrically; using
the tweezers or similar, press down on the adhesive section
to adhere it to the housing.

Note on use of the detachable cable
The warranty for this product is valid for 2 years from the day of purchase. During the
warranty period, we will repair the product based on the provisions below. The warranty is
only valid in the country in which the product was purchased. Please contact the store you
purchased the product from regarding questions pertaining to repairs. For products
purchased outside your country of residence and for support after the warranty period,
please contact us using the Contact Form on our website.
1. During the warranty period, we will repair the product free of charge if the product
failed even though it was used in accordance with the instructions in the User's
Manual and the Warning and Caution sections.
2. In the following cases, repairs to the product will be subject to a fee even during the
warranty period:
(1) The necessary documentation noted in the warranty card is not complete.
(2) The earphones were subjected to a strong impact or were allowed to get wet. Product
failure or broken wires resulting from an excessive use of force on the cables.
(3) Failure of the product or damage caused as a result of fire, earthquake, storm or
flood damage, lightning strike or other natural disaster.
(4) Repair of scratches on the surface of the housing or repair of the housing itself.

How to Mount the Safe fit ring and Earpiece

To ensure the safe use of these earpieces, two types of safe fit rings (for use with silicon
earpieces and for foam earpieces) have been included with the product. When using this
product, please ensure that you mount the safe fit ring. Failure to do so may result in the
earpiece slipping out of position and the tip of the housing breaking free from the
earpiece, which may in turn cause damage to the user’s ear canal.
After attaching the ear hooks to the cables, insert the housings
into each ear, hook the ear hooks over the ears and adjust the fit.

Using the ear hooks makes for an even more stable fit, and also
makes for a reduction in touch noise.
Regarding earpieces
This product comes with two types of earpieces – silicon (5 sizes) and COMPLY foam (3 sizes).

F4100 is made of metal. Please be aware that metal parts may
come into direct contact with your skin. Therefore, if you have an
allergy to metal you should not use this product. Also, if you
experience skin irritation, stop using the product immediately and
seek medical attention. When using the product in cold climates,
be sure not to allow the product to strongly contact with your skin.
Ignoring the content of this indication could result in death or
serious injury.
Do not use the earphones while driving a bicycle, car or motorcycle.
Doing so could cause a traffic accident and/or serious injury.
Do not use the product while walking in dangerous environments
such as near a railroad crossing or intersection where you cannot
hear sounds from the outside.
Ignoring the content of this indication could cause injury or damage
to household articles in the vicinity.
When using the earphones, be careful not to play the sound too
loud. Doing so for a long period of time could affect your hearing. At
80 dB(A) exposure time shall be limited to 40 hours /week, whereas
at 89 dB(A) exposure time shall be limited to 5 hours /week.
If you experience skin irritation, stop using the product immediately
and seek medical attention, or consult with our sales agent.
If the sound volume is too loud, sound can be heard by other
people. Use care not to disturb other people.
The way you position the earphone in your ear affects the sound quality. We recommend
trying different positions by moving the earphone around while playing music. This will
allow you to find the position that generates your most preferred sound. Once you figure
out your favorite position it will be easy to set that position each time. The shapes of a
person's right ear and left ear are usually different. Therefore, the best position for each ear
is usually different as well.

Because the housing is made of metal, if you bring the earphone from a cold environment
and the temperature rapidly changes, condensation could occur inside the housing. In
such a case, leave it for a while until any condensation inside the unit evaporates and then
use the product.
Do not apply strong impacts to the earphones or put excess force on the cable. If the
product fails or wires are broken due to abnormal use, the product warranty is invalidated.

When removing the earphone from your ears, always hold the main unit first and then
remove. Pulling the cord could cause the wire to become disconnected.
Leaving the product in locations exposed to direct sunlight, high humidity, or a dusty
environment could cause the product to fail.
If the product fails, do not attempt to disassemble.
The earphone jack is for stereo reproduction only. If the earphone is connected to a
monaural output jack, sound may not come out of one side.

When using the silicon earpieces, please ensure that you mount the accompanying safe
fit rings. Using the silicon earpieces without the safe fit rings may result in the earpieces
changing position and the tips of the housings protruding from the earpieces, which may
in turn injure the ear canals.

Please do not forcibly insert the housing into the rear of the ear canal. Doing so may
result in injury to the ear canal.

To prevent damage to the connecting terminal, please ensure that all
parts are held straight when connecting or disconnecting them.
When disconnecting them, do not pull on the cable; ensure that you
hold the gold metal section near the junction section.
In the event that evidence of excess wear or damage to the connecting
terminal is recognized, the product will not be covered by the warranty,
even during thewarranty period.
The connecting terminal has not been configured with a view to frequent connection and
disconnection. Repeatedly connecting and disconnecting the terminal may lead to contact
failure owing to wear or damage to the terminal; please ensure that any connection or
disconnection is limited to situations of cable breakage or when the cable is replaced with
other final cables that are sold separately.
