In the case of any unusual events occurring during the use of the product, e.g. if there is a distinct smell of burning
insulation or smoke comes out of the device, immediately turn off the device, disconnect the device from the power
source and do not use the device until you have received the results of an inspection by the employees of the
professional service centre. To recharge the battery that is integrated into the device, place the device in a well
ventilated place and at a suffi cient distance from easily fl ammable materials. Neither the manufacturer nor the seller of
the device under any condition takes responsibility for any direct or indirect damages caused by not adhering to
instructions for installation, setup, use, service or cleaning of this device as described in these operating instructions.
Protect the device against being knocked, dropped, hit, shaken and against vibrations, humidity and dust. Do not use or
leave the device in the vicinity of an open fi re.
Do not look into the lamp when it is on as this could cause eye damage. Not suitable for children under the age of 5.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The power plug is used as a disconnecting device, which must for this reason remain easily accessible.
Do not expose the device to the effects of dripping or sprayed water and do not place objects filled with a liquid
(e.g. vases) on the device.

Remember to always disconnect the power plug from the power soc ket before disconnecting the power cable from
the rear side of the device.
An open flame must not be placed on the device, e.g. burning candle.
Pay special attention to the batteries used as regards to the environment.
Correct charging process
Only charge the battery using the original power supply. Charging takes 4 – 5 hours. The battery can be charged in at
any power level, there is no memory eff ect. If the fl ashlight has not been used for a longer period of time, it is
necessary to recharge the battery before using it again. The battery discharges itself and it is necessary to charge it at
least once every 4 months - this will prevent the potential destruction of the battery. After recharging, disconnect the
power source from the fl ashlight and from the power grid.
