• Warnings - Incorrect use and Non-recommended use
Below, we provide a series of warnings and examples of incorrect uses or procedures which reduce the safety of the L’ASTRA
Table Lamp. The series of warnings and incorrect uses or procedures provided below is purely guideline and does not cover all
the possible circumstances for incorrect or non-recommended uses of the L’ASTRA Table Lamp, which must be evaluated on each
occasion.
Do not pull on the electrical cables, in play or to move the L’ASTRA Table Lamp. Do not expose the L’ASTRA Table Lamp to splashes
or jets of water. The Lamp must not be placed in contact with food. Tearing or damaging the electrical cables is forbidden.
There are no adjustable parts, so to move the L’ASTRA Table Lamp around, grip the upright with both hands, first disconnecting
the power supply cable.
Do not sit, lean or stand upon the float glass surface of the L’ASTRA Table Lamp. Do not use the float glass surface of the L’ASTRA
Table Lamp as a chopping surface. Do not strike the L’ASTRA Table Lamp with hammers or pointed or blunt items which may
crack or shatter the glass. Do not use powder detergents or detergents containing abrasives for cleaning the L’ASTRA Table Lamp,
since they may scratch the float glass. Do not use the L’ASTRA Table Lamp for DIY work or for mechanical, electrical or electronic
repairs. In normal conditions of use, do not tilt the product by more than 6°. Any higher angles might reduce the stability of the
L’ASTRA Table Lamp. Never place items at temperatures below -30°C (such as items just taken out of the freezer), or with
temperatures above +30°C (such as foods just removed from the oven) in direct contact with the surface of the L’ASTRA Table
Lamp; exposing the surface of the L’ASTRA Table Lamp to stresses of this kind may damage the float glass, reducing its strength
and thus its safety level.
Never expose the L’ASTRA Table Lamp to intense heat sources (such as stoves or ovens); exposing the lamp to stresses of this
kind may damage the float glass, reducing its strength and thus its safety level. Do not expose the L’ASTRA Table Lamp to
temperatures below -10°C or weather; exposure of this kind may damage the float glass, reducing its strength and thus its safety
level. The L’ASTRA Table Lamp must be placed well away from items such as coat racks or ornaments which may accidentally
fall onto its surface.

WARNING: the producer does not accept any liability for damage in the event of:
• incorrect use and use not in accordance with the article's intended purpose
• tampering with the power supply cable or other electrical components
• tampering with any component of the product
Keep the instructions for use in a safe place
Never place in contact with water or damp
Do not connect the product to the electrical mains if the power supply cable is damaged. If electrical components require
replacement (cables, plugs, etc....) have the work done by skilled staff.
Ensure that the power supply cable does not pass close to sharp corners or edges, or especially over objects which produce heat
or in the vicinity of corrosive substances. Do not remove the plug by pulling on the power supply cable.
Do not place the switch on the ground in damp conditions or where water may collect.
Turn off the switch and disconnect the power supply plug from the socket before cleaning.
FAILURES
In the event of failures, faults or suspected faults, disconnect the plug from the power point at once and call in skilled staff.
Electricity can be dangerous! Therefore, always comply strictly with safety regulations.
