Bridging is away to combine the power of 2 channals into 1. When you wire the amp
bridged you have a higher voltage differential b and-. That means MORE
POWER. If you have 2 identical mono amplifiers (They can not be a stereo amp that is
bridged internally) you can bridge them together to create 1 channel.
WARNING
When bridging any amp or amps, each channel sees half of the ohm load. 4 ohms
bridged is the same as 2 ohms stereo. 1 ohm bridged is equal to 1/2 ohm stereo. Check
the compatibility of your woofers and amplifier before you begin.
2 MA 500.1 in a bridged configuration must not be connected to a load lower than 2
ohms..
For bridging to work both amplifiers must be playing exactly the same signal at exactly
the same output level. To make this easier use the MASTER/SLAVE as above but the
"SLAVE" amp must be set to "Out of Phase".
Use the configuration below.

Auto Sense (Auto detect turn-on)
MASTER / SLAVE
The MA 500.1 Amplifier has a Auto Sense feature. In Auto Sense Mode when deck is
on the amplifier will automatically turn on and the turn on terminal will send +12V out
to turn on other devices if needed. Auto Sense turn on will only work with a bridged
output deck.A bridged output deck is one where neither speaker is grounded, each is
driven from an amplfier (virtually all car decks are of this type).
The MA 500.1 is equippedwith a MASTER/SLAVE circuit. This allows you to control 2
or more amplifiers from one set of controls. All of your gains, crossovers, bass boost,
subsonic filters and remote level will be controlled from a single "master" amplifier.
This eliminates all the tedious gain and crossover matching normally needed when
using multible amplifiers.
