tives on waste electrical and electronic
equipment and batteries and accumula­
tors and their implementation in nation­
al law, faulty or used electrical equip­
ment, batteries and battery packs must
be collected separately and recycled in
an environmentally friendly manner.
This machine is la­
belled with the sym­
bol for the separate
collection of waste
electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE). This means that this machine
must be recycled or dismantled in ac­
cordance with European Directive
2012/19/EU to reduce the environmen­
tal impact. Another option is to return
this machine to authorised collection
points or a dealer when purchasing new
electrical or electronic equipment.
Used or faulty batteries must only be
returned to collection points if dis­
charged and secured against short-cir­
cuiting (e.g. by insulating the terminals
with adhesive tape). The applicable reg­
ulations must be observed.
Batteries will then be recycled.
