4.3 Configuring the SPC200 as a PROFIBUS slave

Before commissioning or programming you should com-
pile a configuration list of all the connected field bus
slaves. On the basis of this list, you can:

– compare the NOMINAL with the ACTUAL configura-

tion in order to detect connection faults

– access these specifications during the syntax check

of a program in order to avoid addressing errors.
