Installation
CAUTION
Use the special cable from Festo (type KSPC-AIF-...) for con-
necting the axis interface. Please refer to the SPC200 user
manual for details of permitted cable lengths for connecting
the axis interface string.
In this way you can avoid malfunctioning of the SPC200 and of
the modules connected on the axis interface string.
The bus signals, the operating voltage and the load voltage
supply for the modules connected on the axis interface string
are provided by the 5-pin plug on the subcontroller module.
The KSPC-AIF-... connecting cable is supplied already fitted
with a 5-pin screw terminal.
CAUTION
The axis interface is not protected against incorrect polarity.
Make sure that the contacts are correctly assigned if, for
example, you connect the screw terminal yourself after
shortening the cable.
