Voltage supply

Warning

·

In order to provide the electric power supply, use only
PELV

circuits

as per IEC/DIN EN 60204−1 (Protective

Extra−Low  Voltage,  PELV).
Take  into  account  also  the  general  requirements  for
PELV  circuits  as  per  IEC/DIN  EN60204−1.

·

Use only

power supply units

which guarantee reliable

electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204−1.

By  the  use  of  PELV  power  units,  protection  against  electric
shock  (protection  against  direct  and  indirect  contact)  is
guaranteed  in  accordance  with  IEC/DIN  EN  60204−1
(electrical  equipment  of  machines,  general  requirements).

Note

Note  that  the  tolerances  of  the  voltage  supply  must  also  be
observed  directly  at  the  voltage  supply  connection  of  the
SFC−LAC,  see  Tab.3/4.

Use only the the cables as per Tab.3/2 for the voltage
supply.

·

Use closed−loop regulated power supply units with:

at least 2 A peak current for the logic voltage

(24VDC),

at least 20 A peak current for the load voltage

(48VDC, 960 W).

The  use  of  power  supply  units  with  lower  output  levels  is
possible  with  restricted  motion  dynamics  and  loads.  To  do
this,  you  must  specify  the  power  output  of  your  power  supply
unit  in  the  FCT  (or  via  object  6510/50h).
