3.3 Connecting the MPA valve terminal
In the case of sub−bases fitted with reserve plates, seal the
work connections (2 or 4) with blanking plates or threaded
blanking plugs to prevent dirt from entering.
In order to guarantee the optimum efficiency of the valve ter
minal, we recommend in the following cases that more than
one supply or exhaust line be used:
when large volume cylinders are operated at high speeds
when several valves are switched simultaneously to the
flow position.
Connections on the following components are available for
supplying the valve terminal:
on the MPA valve terminal with CPX terminal:
on the pneumatic interface
on the supply unit, maximum between each sub−base
(optional)
on the supply unit next to the right−hand end plate
on the MPA valve terminal with MP or MPM connection:
on the MP or MPM sub−base
if necessary, on the supply unit next to the right−hand end
plate
