Cyclical program execution
The control program is cyclically executed if the LOGO! is in RUN mode.
The time required to execute a program is dependent on the extent of
the program.
Control program
The control program is created using the appropriate programming
software and then loaded to the LOGO! Basic.
Your control program and reference values are then stored in the
integrated EEPROM of the LOGO! Basic – namely voltage failure safe.
Operating states of the LOGO! Basic
The LOGO! Basic recognises two operating states: STOP and RUN.
Operating states of the LOGO! Basic
STOP RUN
– Display: „No program“.
– LOGO! can be switched to the operating mode
Programming.
– Display: Mask for monitoring of inputs and
outputs and messages.
– The LOGO! can be switched to the operating
mode Parameterisation.
Action of the LOGO! in STOP operating mode:
– Inputs are not read.
– Program is not executed.
– Relay contacts are permanently open, i.e. a
0-signal is applied at the outputs.
Action of the LOGO! in RUN operating mode:
– LOGO! reads the status of the inputs.
– LOGO! executes the control program and
determines the status of the outputs.
– LOGO! switches on and off the relay outputs.
