8 Description
8.1 This is what the equipment set TP 1410 can do
The equipment set TP 1410 servo brake and actuator system, abbreviated motor test bench, is a complete
load and actuator system. It allows the systems under examination to be analyzed in different load
situations.
The concept makes a clear distinction between the test specimen and the load. A practical quick-changing
system allows the test specimens (motors) to be set up and changed quickly. The test specimens are
connected using the flexible A4 EduTrainer
® .
Simple tests can be performed also without a PC and software, such as recording a characteristic curve. The
integrated display shows measured values, characteristics and the function mode.
Adapted to the servo brake and actuator system of Festo Didactic,
the convenient software DriveLab
provides a wide range of options.
With the electric teaching machines, virtually all electric circuits and actuators used for industrial,
commercial and domestic purposes can be explained in a practice-oriented manner based on the level of
training.
These include:

Single-phase and three-phase actuators
• DC actuators
•
Modern servo drives.
8.2 Additional material/prerequisites for operation
•
A laboratory table or a table of similar stability.
• A grounded power connection (230 V AC 1~) protected against short circuits and overloads.
•
A protective grounding conductor for the connection of the additional grounding conductor cable.
• A test specimen.
•
Several connecting cables with 4 mm safety plugs.
• Optional: PC with Windows operating system and software DriveLab.
