3 MEASURING PROCEDURE
3.1 Measuring the number of revolutions
 Move the function switch to position "RPM".
 Install the terminal for measuring r/min, RPM
 Press the measuring button and lightly press the detection pin (B) against the central
hole of the rotating shaft, making sure to keep it properly aligned. Release the
measuring button when the reading has stabilised (approximately 2 seconds).
3.2 Measuring peripheral speed
 Move the function switch to the position "M/MIN".
 Install the (wheel) terminal for measuring peripheral speed.
 Press the measuring button and rest the peripheral speed measuring wheel on the
external point to be measured. Release the measuring button when the reading has
stabilised.
3.3 Measuring peripheral length
 Move the function switch to position "m" and install the appropriate terminal and
proceed as in Section 4.2, part C).
Note: when performing measurements of speed and length by contact and the external part
of the terminal by contact touches the object, the measurement is real.
