The Truck pallet is made up of the following parts (see Figure 1):
a strong metal structure, equipped with a pair of forks on which a loading platform can
be applied (ref. 3) that can be varied in height from the ground level;
a lifting chain (ref. 6) connected to the fork carriage;
a lifting cylinder (ref. 5) actuated by hydraulic oil under pressure;
two polyurethane rollers (ref. 4) that support the machine and allow transportation;
a hydraulic unit, controlled by the pedal (ref. 1) that allows lifting to be performed;
a knob connected to the release valve that allows the lowering of the forks (ref. 7);
a pair of steerable wheels (ref. 8) that allow the direction of travel to be adjusted;
two pedal operated parking brakes (ref. 9), which, if engaged, prevent the movement
of the Truck pallet.
4.1
Safety devices
The main safety devices present on the machine are:
The pedal operated parking brakes;
The anti-crushing guards on the steering wheels (handle side);
The anti derailment casing of the lifting chain;
The travel limit mechanical stops on the upper part of the upright;
The load limiter;
The identification plate indicating the maximum load capacity
The
pedal operated parking brakes
(ref. 9), consisting of
two movable brackets, are installed on the fixed rear
wheels and protect the stacker from the dangers arising
from undesired movements when parked and/or during the
lifting / lowering of the load.
For a more detailed explanation on the operation of the
parking brakes, see paragraph 8.5

Parking brake
The
anti-crushing guards on the steering wheels
(ref. 8 in Figure 2) prevent the feet of
the operator in charge of operating the truck pallet from being crushed and/or hit by the
wheels during movement of the truck pallet itself. In any event, the operator is required to
wear safety shoes (see paragraph 4.2).
