Lubricating the Drive Shaft
Maintenance Interval:
Every 250 hours.
1. Position the drive shaft so that the plug (A, Figure
26) can be accessed from beneath the machine
through the hole in the engine cradle.
2. Remove the plug and install a 1/4-28 grease
fitting.
3. Grease the drive shaft.
4. Remove the 1/4-28 grease fitting and reinstall the
plug.
Lubricating the Front Casters
Maintenance Interval:
Annually.
1. Remove the 1/4-28 bolt (A, Figure 27) screwed
into the caster and install a 1/4-28 grease fitting.
2. Grease the front caster
3. Remove the 1/4-28 grease fitting and reinstall the
1/4-28 bolt
4. Repeat the process for the other side of the
machine.
