Maintenance
The primary recommended maintenance
operations are shown below:
1
periodically check the collection tank and, if
necessary, empty it and wash it with running
water; making sure that the dirt collected
never ends up in the tank ( Fig. 8 ).
2 ensure that the holes on the lid of the tank are
never blocked;
3 periodically clean the intake and outlet grilles,
checking that they are never blocked;
4 clean the skimmer impeller every 1/2 months,
as shown in the diagram ( Fig. 9 ), taking care
of removing salt deposits from the end part of
the silicon pipe (air inlet).
Ferplast guarantees the BLUSKIMMER skimmer
and all its parts and accessories within the limits
set out in this clause and by the current legal
provisions. The warranty only covers manufacturing
defects and includes free repair or replacement. The
warranty does not cover damage and/or defects
caused by negligence, wear and tear, use other than
according to the instructions and warnings in this
booklet, accidents, tampering, incorrect use, faulty
or unqualified repairs or purchase not proven by a
receipt.
Warranty
The BLUSKIMMER spare parts are available at the
shop where you bought the product. Numerous
Ferplast accessories that are continuously updated,
useful for adapting your aquarium to all kinds of
needs, are also available. To replace a component
and always guarantee your product’s maximum
operation and safety, only original Ferplast spare
parts must be used. Installation of non original spare
parts invalidates the warranty.
