2.3 Attaching the Fastening System
to the Ambulance Floor
1. If equipped, carefully connect the ICS charging wire to the floor
connector (Figure 10). Center any excess cable in the middle of
the floor plate where it will not be kinked or damaged.
2. Use additional help as needed to orient the fastening system over
the floor plate with the alignment holes over the locator posts
(Figure 10). Carefully set the fastening system in place on the floor
plate.
3. Verify the fastening system is properly seated on the floor plate
and floor without obstructions.
WARNING
An improperly-secured fastening system can fail in a
crash. Confirm all mounting screws are fully tightened
and the fastening system is properly secured to the floor.

position of the wire as you attach the fastener to the floor
