The device must be equipped with adequate instructions for use made by the Manufacturer, to be written in the
language of the country where it has been sold. In case, the translation of the instructions for use in a language different from
that of the Manufacturer will be at the reseller’s charge. The manual must include instructions for use, for preservation, for
periodical inspection and for repairs in the official language of the country where the device will be used.
• PPE must be immediately discontinued in case of any doubt concerning their functional integrity. It is only possible
to make the PPE available again on condition that the Manufacturer or personnel appointed by the Manufacturer performs a
detailed inspection and updates the control sheet.
• Fall-arresting PPE must be discontinued and destroyed (or dismantled) after a fall arrest.
• The only PPE permitted for protection against falls from a height is the complete body harness compliant with EN
361 and connected to the provided points for fall arrest. It is forbidden to connect it to points which are not those provided for
fall arrest or which are only partially considered suitable for fall arrest.
• The fall-arresting anchorage point (compliant with EN 795) must always be above the user. This point must always
guarantee stability and limitation of free fall to the minimum. The form and the construction of the anchorage point of the
device must guarantee a permanent connection of the devices and cannot cause its accidental detachment.
• It is compulsory for the user to evaluate the most adequate fall-arresting system to be used, considering also the air
draught in the specific working setting.
• During all the useful life of the device the users must take care of constantly controlling correct operation also
considering the specific situations of use.
• The devices must be transported, stocked and kept according to the Manufacturer’s instructions.
• The EAGLE NEST must be transported in the specially provided bag with which it has been sold.
• The EAGLE NEST must be stocked inside the specially provided bag with which it has been sold. Before the parts
can be put and stocked inside the bag they must be dried.
- When used by a single operator, the maximum transmitted load is 9 kN, and when used by multiple operators (up to 3) the
maximum transmitted load is 12 kN.
- When the anchorage device is integrated in a fall-arresting system, the user must be equipped with a system to limit the
dynamic force generated by the user during the fall arrest up to 6 kN maximum.
Important
Pay attention and inspect the device components once
again when one of the following conditions occurs:
- extreme temperatures, out of the operating range
- 40 °C ÷ + 50 °C
- contact with chemical substances
- clear abrasion of the components
- components with sharp edges that could cut the
ropes

Should the product be resold out of the original
installation country, it is crucial for the user's safety
that the reseller supplies all instructions for use,
maintenance, periodical inspection and repair in the
language of the country where the device will be used.
