Push the screwdriver bit lightly into the
hexagonal driving shaft (6) of the tool.
The battery life span
The battery life span is limited. If the run time of a
loaded battery shortens considerably, a new
battery must be purchased. If the tool is used
irregularly, then charge the battery at least once
every six months for an optimal result. When the
battery is used under extreme hot or cold
circumstances the capacity will be less per
charge.
4. OPERATION
Always observe the safety instructions
and applicable regulations.
Firmly hold the machine and push the bit with
even pressure into the workpiece. Do not force
the machine. Use only bits that do not yet show
any signs of wear. Worn bits have a negative
effect on the efficiency of the machine.
Angle adjustment

The drill/screwdriver has a 3 angle position
adjustment to allow the screwdriver to be angled
for better transmission.
•
Press the lock switch (8) and push the upper
part (9) of drill/screwdriver down or up to get
the appropiate angle position you need.

Push the top half of the direction switch (4) to
fasten screws.
•
Push the lower half of the direction switch (4)
to loosen screws.

The drill/screwdriver has a light to lighten the
work area.

Switch ON by pushing the light switch (7)
forwards.
•
Switch OFF by pushing the light switch (7)
backwards.
Charging the rechargeable battery

The charger unit supplied is specially intended for
the rechargeable battery fitted in the tool. Do not
use any other charger.The battery is protected
against deep discharge. A protective circuit
switches the tool off when the battery is drained,
so that the bit holder can no longer turn.
Caution:
further operation of the On/Off switch
can cause damage to the battery.
Charging starts when the charger unit is plugged
into the socket and the adapator plug is
connected to the tool (on the underside of the
handle).

Connect the adaptor plug of the mains adaptor
(3) to the handle (2) of the cordless
screwdriver.
•
Plug the mains adaptor into the (wall) socket.
•
Charging starts; the red LED (1) now comes
on.
•
The battery is fully recharged as soon as the
red LED goes off.
•
Recharging a fully discharged battery takes a
maximum of 5 hours.
•
The handle can heat up during charging. This
is normal
5. SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
Make sure that the machine is not live
when carrying out maintenance work on
the motor.
The machines have been designed to operate
over a long period of time with a minimum of
maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation
depends upon proper machine care and regular
cleaning.
Cleaning
Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to
prevent overheating of the engine. Regularly
clean the machine housing with a soft cloth,
preferably after each use. Keep the ventilation
slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt does not
come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy
water. Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol,
