
5. MENU
Press the MENU key on the radio or on the remote control to go to the main menu. The device
will automatically close the menu after 10 seconds and will revert to the radio mode previously
selected. A display in the bottom right corner will display a reverse countdown of the seconds.
You can navigate the menu using the
keys.
You can select the individual menu items using the ENTER key.
5.1. CONFIGURATION
5.1.1. Time Display
Here you can choose the type of clock in standby mode.
5.1.2. Manage my mediaU
Here you can activate or deactivate the MediaU Management function, which allows you to save
an individual station list and to play these stations. To set up and activate your station list, you
will need to log in on the
. Once you have successfully logged in , you
can register your radio. To do this, please enter the MAC address of the radio as a serial number.
The MAC address of the radio can be found under the item “Information Centre”. Whe
never you
have updated the web page used to manage and update your personal selection of radio stations,
please navigate your radio to „manage my mediaU” to synchronise the changes.
5.1.3. Network
Here you can configu re your network settings.
5.1.4. Date & Time
The factory setting for this device
is “automatic time”
- when the radio is connected to the
Internet, the time and date will automatically be synchronised. Of course, you can set them
manually too.
5.1.5. Alarm
REGENT i500s
can be used as a radio alarm.
This menu item allows you to set two wake-up times, if desired. You can choose source of alarm
sound, which will be used at the set time.
Press POWER ON/OFF button to turn the alarm off. If you need snooze, press any other button.
5.1.6. Timer
The timer function provides another way to set the alarm. Set the timer duration and the alarm
will sound once the duration has elapsed.
To do this, use the
keys to enter the time in minutes and seconds. Pressing the key
repeatedly will increase or decrease the time in one-second intervals. Hold these keys down for
longer to scan forward or backward through time.
Confirm your entry by pressing “Enter”.
5.1.7. Language
Here you can set your

menu language.
5.1.8. Dimmer
Configure the brightness of backlight on the display.
5.1.9. Display
Here you can change the display to either “multi
-
colour” or “black and white”, as required.
5.1.10. Power management
Here you can determine idle interval (5/15/30 minutes) after which
REGENT i500s
should
automatically switch off.
5.1.11. Sleep Timer
Once you select a sleep interval (15/30/6090/120/15/180 minutes),
REGENT i500s
will
switch off after passing the set time.
5.1.12. Internet Radio
Here you can set the buffer size and sound quality.
