Side stand
Side stand spring
Inspection
●
Check whether the side stand works smoothly. If the side stand is
stiff or rattling, clean the pivot area and lubricate the pivot bolt with
clean grease.
●
Check the springs for damage or loss of elasticity.
●
Sit on the motorcycle and put away the side stand.
●
Turn on the motor, and lower the side stand as far as it can go. At this
time, the motor will not run even if you turn the speed control handle.
If the motor does not stop and you can still ride the motorcycle even
after you have lowered the side stand, please have your motorcycle
inspected and repaired at an authorized dealer.
