UNIT OPERATION

ENERGY SAVER MODE
This feature can be used when the air conditioner is 

COOLING

. Based on set temperature, the

fan cycles on and off with the compressor. This mode results in variations of room 
temperature and humidity.  It is recommended to use this mode when the room is unoccupied.
1.

Press on the 

ENERGY SAVER       

button.

2.

Press     (increase) or     (decrease) to set room temperature.  The set temperature will 

show on the LED  display. To alternate between 

o

C and 

o

F, press and hold for 3 seconds 

both keys together.

3.

Press      to set fan speed to 

AUTO, LOW, MED 

or

HIGH

. Each level is matched with an 

indicator light going on when selected.

NOTE :

The fan and the compressor may not cycle on and off simultaneously.

SLEEP MODE
• In 

SLEEP

mode, the air conditioner adjusts the cooling temperature for a preset period of time. 

Using this mode will allow you to maintain a continuous room comfort for a good night sleep.

• When the 

SLEEP

mode is on, the set temperature will increase by 2

o

F  30 minutes after the mode 

is selected. The temperature will then increase by another 2

o

F after an additional 30 minutes. This

new temperature will be maintained for 7 hours before it returns to the originally set temperature.
This ends the 

SLEEP

mode and the unit will continue to operate as originally programmed.

Set to

COOL

mode and adjust the temperature on the air conditioner. 

2.

Press on the 

SLEEP

button.

3.

This mode can be cancelled at any time during operation ; simply press again on 

SLEEP.

SETTING THE TIMER
The timer is used to set an automatic start or shut off.  
Automatic start :
1.

Press on 

TIMER   

until the “

ON

” indicator light goes on - this indicates that the 

automatic start program is initiated.

2.

Press    (increase) or     (decrease) to set the numbers of hours (1-24) before the turn on.

• 0 to 10 hours, the time will increase by 1/2 hour ; 10 to 24, it will increase by 1 hour.

3.

For 5 seconds, the LED display will show the time left before the unit starts ; then, the  

display will currently show the set temperature.

Automatic shut off :
Press on 

TIMER   

until the “

OFF

” indicator light goes on - this indicates that the automatic

shut off program is initiated. Repeat steps 2 and 3 described above for the automatic start.

Turning the unit ON or OFF at any time will cancel the TIMER function.

FILTER CLEANING WARNING LIGHT
This feature is a reminder to clean the air filter. It will go on after 250 hours of operation.
1.

When the 

CHECK FILTER

light is on, remove and clean the air filter or replace it.  Refer to 

“Cleaning the air filter” in the “Maintenance” section.

2.

Then put the filter back in place.

3.

To reset, press the 

CHECK FILTER

button - pilot light will go off.
