Operation with abrasive cut-off wheel(optional accessory)
WARNING:
• When using an abrasive cut-off wheel, be sure
touse only the special wheel guard designed for
usewith cut-off wheels.
• NEVER use cut-off wheel for side grinding.
• Do not “jam” the wheel or apply
excessivepressure. Do not attempt to make an
excessivedepth of cut. Overstressing the wheel increasesthe loading and susceptibility to
twisting or bindingof the wheel in the cut and the possibility ofkickback, wheel breakage and
overheating of themotor may occur.
• Do not start the cutting operation in the work piece.Let the wheel reach full speed and
carefully enterinto the cut moving the tool forward over thework piece surface. The wheel
may bind, walk up orkickback if the power tool is started in thework piece.
• During cutting operations, never change the angleof the wheel. Placing side pressure on
the cut-offwheel (as in grinding) will cause the wheel to crackand break, causing serious
personal injury.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
•
Always be sure that the tool is switched off
andunplugged before attempting to
performinspectionor maintenance.
The tool and its air vents have to be kept clean.
Regularlyclean the tool’s air vents or whenever
the vents start tobecome obstructed.
To maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs,carbon brush inspection and
replacement, any othermaintenance or adjustment should be performed by FELISATTI
Authorized or Factory Service Centers, always using FELISATTI replacement parts.
