Using batteries may cause electric shock or high short-circuit current hazards.
Observe the following precautions when working with batteries
a) Remove watches, rings, and other metal objects.
b) Use tools with insulated handles.
c) Wear rubber gloves and boots.
d) Do not place tools or metal parts on the battery.
e) Disconnect the charging source before connecting or disconnecting the
battery terminals.
f) If the battery is inadvertently grounded, remove the grounded source.
Contact with any part of a grounded battery could result in electric shock.
This potential for electric shock can be reduced if grounding is removed
during installation and maintenance. This applies to equipment or remote
battery equipment whose power circuits are not grounded.
