The vibration systems.
Vibration is the heart of the roller. There are two systems to choose from: Circular exciter and VARIO-
CONTROL.
Well known and popular: the circular exciter.
Single drum rollers with circular exciters offer two amplitudes and are particularly simple to operate.

VARIOCONTROL means:

The drum vibrates purely linear instead of on a circular path

The amplitude is infinitely adjustable

The amplitude is controlled automatically
VARIOCONTROL extends the range of possible applications tremendously. Smooth and powerful – just as re-
quired. If there are e.g. sensitive building nearby, the amplitude is reduced to such an extent, that no harmful
vibrations will be generated. However, if sheer compaction power is required, the VARIOCONTROL will achieve
undreamt-of power. Thanks to the linearly directed oscillations amplitudes of up to 2.85 mm are possible, which
would not be achieved with conventional systems.
BOMAG VARIOCONTROL can even offer more, it is intelligent and automatically controls its amplitude infinitely.
