Product variants - Resolution
The encoder has a standard singleturn resolution of 12 bit (4096 increments per revolution)
and a multiturn resolution of 16 bit. Thus, 2
16
= 65536 revolutions can be counted.
Apart from the standard configuration, other resolutions are available as special program-
ming on request (see Tab. 1).

In combination with a FAULHABER Motion Controller of Generation V3.0, an overall
resolution (mul singleturn) of maximum 32 bit is possible.
With an singleturn resolution of 12 bits, a maximum multiturn resolution of 20 bits
is possible.
With an singleturn resolution of 10 bits, a maximum multiturn resolution of 20 bits
is possible.
